Such a gem in the Fort Worth/Dallas area! I was visiting from Colorado and was so happy to find a queer-owned kava bar with such a welcoming, laid-back vibe. It immediately felt comfortable and inviting. The drinks were great, the crowd was friendly, and the whole atmosphere made me want to stay awhile. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!

The Fool’s Kava House is an absolute hidden gem! The atmosphere was eclectic, cozy, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we walked in. The owners were beyond hospitable and took the time to help me choose the perfect kava drink based on my tastes, which made the experience feel so personal and inviting. We went on a Tuesday for trivia night, and it was an absolute blast! Everyone was participating, laughing, and genuinely having a great time. It had that perfect small-town bar vibe right in the suburbs — relaxed, friendly, and full of good energy. If you’re looking for a unique spot with amazing people and a fun community atmosphere, this place is a MUST visit!!

The atmosphere is a daily vibe of fun laughter and quiet enough to come and do work or school from open to close. Night events change they have karaoke and games. 420 friendly non alcoholic beverages available here. Kava is a root and used to make drinks, they have espresso, juices and teas as options and snacks available to purchase. You can get food delivered they do ask you not order adult beverages and bring them into the environment. Your first boula I think is how you spell it is a gift and an experience with the staff. Open till two am people can be seen as you go by skating, playing corn hole, chatting, and vaping and smoking on the sidewalk. Picture of the drink is a sweet lemonade with lavender.

I can’t say enough about what The Fool’s Kava House has meant to me & the positive development the space has had on my life thus far. What started as simply checking out a local spot turned into something much deeper—an authentic community built on kindness, understanding, and genuine human connection. The fool’s kava house is an amazing place to make memories and relax! I have been a regular here for about a year and it is amazing to see how this place has changed! I have seen people come and go be it for good and bad reasons, from moving away to start new beginnings, and to making the environment too uncomfortable for others in which the owners had to step in.. nevertheless I find this place to be a rare place in which you can be yourself without the pressure of society looming over you everywhere you go! But hey they got good drinks and a great selection of music depending on who’s on shift! This place closes at 2am, and it is a safe environment for sober people who still want to enjoy the good parts of the nightlife without worries of creeps and crudes messing with the vibe :) . With that said there were cases in which drunk people happen to stumble in late at night. But no problem for the night team of kava tenders!!! They make sure they’re alright and hydrated! I, as a night life regular, love helping around with the community we made here till close so I can see why some see it as weird.
